Crywolf


Fortress of Crywolf is located at the southeastern area of Valley of Loren. It’s a front line fortress where the allied forces of human and elf fight against the forces of Kundun. The rough geographical features of the fortress made it a fortress blessed with natural barriers for defense and a key area for strategy.

Kundun’s forces haven’t been able to head north and now the frontline is in a deadlock. Therefore Kundun has commanded Lemuria to dispatch troops to the Fortress of Crywolf to overcome a situation.

Requirements

Regular characters (Above level 10), Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord (Above level 7)

How to enter Crywolf

Warp from Valley of Loren (Entrance coordinate: 164,35)

Event Rules

Can’t warp using a warp command or M key.

The Crywolf Battle

Stages

  1. Stand-by
    1. Inside village will change from a safety zone to battle zone when the battle starts.
    2. Players can’t use their personal store or talk to the NPC.
  2. Schedule
    1. Battle will be held for 30 minutes.
    2. When the character gets killed in the battle he will resurrect from a certain location in the map.
    3. The goal of the battle is to be the last man standing when the time runs out.
  3. Wolf Statue
    • This enormous tutelary statue was created from the ancient strength of elves so it has a power to protect itself from the evil sprits which keeps away Kundun’s troops. But the statue becomes weak once a week and gets attacked by Kundun’s troops led by Balgass. There are 5 altars around the statue for protection and when these altars are destroyed the statue will lose its power to protect the Fortress of Crywolf
  4. Altar
    • These altars protect and give power to the statue and only the elves can give powers to the altars. When the altars get destroyed the statue will lose its power making these altars a prime target for Balgass’ monster troops. The success of the quest will depend on the players’ ability to protect the altars and the elves who give power to the altars.
  5. Altar Contract

    • Character restriction for contract
      • 5 Muse elf characters above level 350
      • When the contract is ongoing between the altar and a Muse elf, no further contact will be allowed.
    • No. of contracts
      • Maximum of 2 contracts are allowed and no further contract will be permitted.
      • Failure in contract can be caused by:
        • When the character moves out of altar while the contract is ongoing
        • When the character gets killed while the contract is ongoing:
    • Contract time
      • An icon will be displayed on the characters that can still avail the contract.
      • It will take an effect on the Wolf statue 5 minutes after the altar contract gets registered.
    • Shield creation
      • Certain no. of shields for the Wolf statue will be created depending on the no. of characters in ongoing contract at the altar.
        • Initial status without a contract
          • Shield HP = 0
        • When the character gets killed while the contract is ongoing:
          • Shield HP = Total HP of character in ongoing contract
    • Shield HP
      • When the contracted character’s HP decreases the HP of Wolf statue will decrease as well.
  6. Success and failure
    • Success
      • More than 1 altar left and Wolf statue is protected at the end of the battle
      • When Balgass is defeated
    • Failure
      • All the altars are destroyed and the contract wasn’t sustained at the end of the battle
      • When Balgass is not defeated
  7. Rewards
    • Individual reward
      • Bonus Exp can be acquired aside from the EXP from monsters depending on the no. of participants.
      • Different rewards will be given to the participants of the battle depending on Kill Points.
      • Kill Points will be earned by a character that delivers the final killing blow.
      • Muse elves who survive after the contract battle will earn an additional 6,000 points.

    * Reward will be given after the battle therefore if the character warps to another map before the end of battle he will not receive the reward.

    • Server reward
      • Strength of monsters in all server clusters except Land of Trial will decrease 10%.
      • Kundun’s life recovery will not function.
      • Success rate will increase 5% when combining invitations
  8. Failure penalty
    • Corresponding function can’t be used since the trainer and NPC Serbis in Crywolf will be evacuated.
    • Drop rate for Jewel of guardian in Land of Trial will decrease

Castle Siege

Castle Siege Basics

  • There is only one Castle on Valhalla in the Valley of Loren.
  • Move to Lorencia (239, 13) to enter the Valley of Loren.
  • There is no level restriction for entering the Valley of Loren.
  • The Valley of Loren map is PVP for all, even if you came from a non-PVP server.
  • During the actual Castle Siege event, you can attack your opponents without holding down the CTRL key.
  • Items that normally could drop when you are PKed with Outlaw status will not drop during the Castle Siege event.

Siege Participants Requirements

  • All participating guilds must have a Guild Master that is at least Level 200 or higher (no Class restrictions).
  • All participating guilds must have at least 20 members or more.
  • In order to actually be able to interact with the Castle’s devices or to even win the event, a guild must be a part of an alliance.
  • Anyone in the Valley of Loren can “participate” or interact with players, but these members or guilds can’t actually win the event themselves.
  • If the guild that holds the castle disbands at anytime, they will forfeit the castle.
  • There can only be three attacking guilds during the event.

How to register for a siege

Qualified guilds must talk to the Guardsman NPC and press the "Announce" button and their registration will be accepted.

Only the guild master of the main alliance can announce “intent to siege” to the guardsman NPC.

All members of a guild that has announced their intent to siege can collect and submit Signs of Lord during the registration period.

When the guardsman NPC is clicked, the guild name and allied guilds names rankings will show on the registry.

When the guard NPC is clicked Siege status information will be shown.

Guilds are ranked according to several factors, including how many Signs of Lord have been obtained.

Only the top 3 guilds and their allies will be given a priority for the siege.

Siege Status
Truce Period Starts from the end of siege till the start of the next siege. Alliances can only be forged during this time!

* Note: Players can get a Signs of Lord through hunting any monsters.

Siege Battle Basics

When the the guild registration is complete, the invading team and their allies will have a sword icon and defending and their allies will have a shield icon.

  • PK penalty does not apply to the guilds of the invading and defending team.
  • The above condition is applicable only in the Valley of Loren.
  • PK penalty will not be applied to both invading team and defending teams but will be applicable to other characters who are not participants.
  • The Guild Masters will have a crown mark on the top instead of sword or shield mark.
  • Neutral characters will not be marked as attackers or defenders.
  • Guild registration/withdrawal during the battle is not allowed.

Siege Players

  • The invading team will have a sword icon and the defending team will have a shield on top of their character.
  • The guild master will have a crown icon instead of sword or shield. (A blue crown for the defending team and a red one for invading team)

Deployment

Basic Policy and Winning condition

  • The alliance under the invading/defending team will automatically be sorted into each invading/defending team.
  • Attacking your own troops is possible by pressing Ctrl key, as well as certain AOE spells will cause damage to your own allies.
  • Range attack can give 80% reduced damage to your own troops and 60% reduced damage for other troops.
  • To win Castle Siege, the guild master's official seal should be registered in the pedestal located at the dragon tower, and if it is successfully registered, the lord of the castle is updated with the player who registered.
  • Only the guild master can register the official seal in the pedestal.
  • To register, press it for 30 seconds and if the 2 switches that are needed for stamping are cancelled or the character gets killed, the registration will fail.
  • If there's remaining time, even if the registration was successful, the battle will continue but the 2 camps of invading/defending team will be exchanged.
  • The guild with their official seal registered at the end of the siege will become the lords of the castle.
  • The guild that owns the castle (including the alliance) can warp into the Valley of Loren to go the castle*.
Switch Pedestal

*Warp command cannot be used during the Castle Siege Warfare stage, but the defending team can warp to the front of the castle by using "Town Portal Scroll".

Blood Castle

"Risk your life to Save the Archangel"

One of the strongest warriors in the Continent of MU, the Archangel; has secretly been laying watch over the lands that he has sworn to protect. As Kundun's presence approaches, the Archangel has been warding off all the monsters trying to invade the Continent of MU. But alas, our Guardian Archangel can not fend on his own forever.

Kundun's Army has invaded his Castle and has overcome the strength of the Archangel. The Archangel, Injured and in peril; summons forth the warriors of MU, to come aid him in his most dire time of need. Unable to summon his strengths without his Divine Weapon of Archangel, you have been asked to infiltrate this now over ridden Castle and retrieve his weapon for him.

Fight thru the bridge and gain entrance into the castle. Be the first to retrieve the Divine Weapon of Archangel, and return it to him will complete the event. With the Cloak of Invisibility, you will be allowed onto the castle grounds. Will you be able to infiltrate the castle and retrieve what is needed without fear?

When you have successfully created the Cloak of Invisibility, you may use it to enter the Blood Castle. To Create the Cloak of Invisibility you must combine a Scroll of Archangel and a Blood Bone of the same levels. You will need the level of cloak that will match the level of Blood Castle you will be entering.

How to Gain Entry to Blood Castle

You will need to create the Cloak of Invisibility using the Scroll of Archangel, the Blood Bone, and a chaos Jewel. Only items of the same level can be combined to create the Cloak of Invisibility for that specific Blood Castle.

Blood Castle Rules

  • Warping command will work in Blood Castle
  • Only a maximum of 10 players are allowed per each Blood Castle level sub-server
  • If you die in Blood Castle (you will not lose experience, lose zen, or drop items)
  • Specific skills can be used in safety zone of Blood Castle ( Attack/Defense buff, heal, soul barrier, swell life)
Rewards

  • Members who survived once the event is over will all receive one Jewel of Chaos
  • According to what each character breaks will gain tremendous experience. (ex: statue...returning weapon...etc)


Chaos Castle

"Chaos will ensue while inside the Chaos Castle"

Friend or Foe? Inside the Chaos Castle you fight to the death. Fight for prestige or prize, but there can be only one. With the Armor of Guardsman you are disguised to look like your enemies, where no one will be able to tell who's who.

The castle will fill with a mix of up to 70 users and the remainder being monster for a combined capacity of 100 occupants. All occupants will be automatically placed into the appropriate Castle. A minimum of 2 players is required for one to start.

The Chaos Castle is separated into Levels Restrictions:

Any player may enter the Chaos Castle as long as they fit into the minimum level requirements. The event will automatically start every four hours throughout the 24 hour day.

Players must buy the Armor of Guardsman at the NPC which he/she can do at anytime. But will only be allowed to enter the Chaos Castle when the event is getting ready to begin.

Up to 70 participants may enter and is based on first come first serve. Upon entering the Chaos Castle then Zen Amount will be automatically deducted from your inventory and the cumulative Zen will be awarded to ONE random player.

When the event starts it becomes a Free For All. The Strongest player will win the event. Players receive one (1) point for a kill to another player and two (2) points for killing a monster. During the event the Arena will decrease in size making it also possible to fall off the sides. If killed or you have fallen off the side you are eliminated from the event and will be sent to Devias.


Devil Square

"Are you strong enough to Survive?"

Enter as one of 10 MUtizens to engage the forces of Kundun as they spawn in front of you in a endless barrage of attacks. Either alone or in a team only the strongest will survive the Devils Square. With the Devils Invitation, you are granted access into the Devils Square, where your strength will be tested.

How to Gain Entry to Devil Square:

Only 10 characters are allowed into the Devils Square at one time, and they need the correct level of Devils Invitation to go inside. The Devils Invitation is made from combining the Devils Eye and the Devils Key with a chaos jewel in the Chaos Machine.

Devil's Square Rules:
  • The warp command can be used after entering Devil's Square.
  • Other players are not allowed to enter after the 10 slots have been filled.
  • When the character gets killed in Devil's Square he will be warped back to Noria.
  • PK is not possible in Devil's Square.
Rewards:
  • Members inside of Devil's Square can keep all items dropped in Devil's Square..
  • Depending on your score which is based on how many monsters you kill your character will gain a lorge experience bonus.


[August 8, 2007] Season 2 Changes

New Armors:
Ashcrow (BK), Eclips (SM), Iris (ME), Valiant (MG), and Glorious (DL)

New DL Skill:
Fire Scream (Dark Lord). Skill Book Mode - Item Name: Fire Scream Scroll - Size: 1*2 (Same as existing scrolls) - Requirement for acquiring skill: Energy Stat 150, Control Stat 70 -Level drop: 102

New ME Skill:
Infinity Arrow (Muse Elf). . Skill Details - This is NOT an orb skill that drops or can be traded/sold - Added to skill tree when changing to Muse Elf, and has duration. - Cannot be attributed to another player and can only be used by owner. - During the time the skill is used, arrows do not lose any durability. - During the time the skill is used, the part that showed the number of arrows previously shows Infinity Arrow ON - can not be reused until Infinity Arrow duration is over.

Players with any PK statues can NOT enter any event.

New event:
Kanturu Event is not open yet. We want our players to prepare before going through it.

Change to Crywolf:
Kundun's Life Recovery Ability is no longer affected if Crywolf event is won.

No more lottery system before entering Chaos Castle but the rewards for winning has increased.

New potions:
SD Shield regenerating potions and Complex combined potions that regenerate HP and SD

New SD Shield is used for PvP.

The SD Shield formula:
=INT(((Power+Vitality+Strength+Energy+Command)*1.2)+((clvl*clvl)/30)+ADef). It is the same for all characters.
